One of the eleven parish churches of the Disciples community in Mbandaka, Air Congo’s sanctuary was hit a few years ago by bombing of the nearby airport. Week of Compassion funds helped the congregation repair the building and Global Ministries funds have recently helped build a primary school (first six years) next to the church building. Approximately 350 people participated in the joyous worship service Sunday, July 4.
